Namaste Fair Trade Rug Shop

10 September 2020

Discover Namaste’s Fair Trade Rug Shop exclusively at iapetus gallery, Great Malvern - 10th September until 3rd October 2020

The collection will showcase the amazing homeware creations of talented artisans from across the globe brought together by Fair Trade specialists, Namaste.

As well as featuring an incredible collection of rugs, the pop-up shop will also include complementary home accessories including cushions and soft furnishings.

If you’ve been looking at your home during lockdown and feel you need to brighten up your rooms this is a great opportunity to discover the perfect piece to do just that.

Not only beautiful, every piece from Namaste’s rug collection is fairly traded. That means the work is created in safe environments, providing a fair price and secure work for makers in underprivileged and marginalised areas.

Namaste is a small business with a strong ethical policy at its core. Namaste believes that the best way to help disadvantaged producers is to work with them in partnership through mutually beneficial and long term trade.

The company has helped over 100 producers to grow and develop since they started trading 20 years ago. They buy from small scale producers who use largely natural materials and traditional techniques to produce beautiful and interesting articles.

All Namaste products are fairly traded. They believe that the best way to reduce poverty is through trade.
