Colwall Players present 'The Unfriend' by Steven Moffat

30 October 2025 to 01 November 2025

All available dates: 30 October 2025 to 01 November 2025

Colwall Players present their latest production, The Unfriend by Steven Moffat.

‘We must keep in touch’ is a phrase many of us say as we bid farewell to friends made on holiday. Peter and Debbie say it to Elsa, the less-than woke but kind of wonderful widow from Denver they meet on a holiday cruise. Before they know it, she invites herself to stay. Online - and too late - they learn the truth about Elsa Jean Krakowski and her deadly past, but how can they tell her she's not welcome without seeming impolite?

A hilarious look at middle-class England's reluctance to offend, Steven Moffat's play has been described as the funniest new play by a British author since Ayckbourne at his peak.

Performances take place at Colwall Village Hall, Mill Lane, Colwall from Thursday 30th October to Saturday 1st November, beginning at 7.30pm each evening. Tickets are £13 for adults and £7 for children, available by calling 0333 666 3366 or at ticketsource.co.uk/colwallplayers
