Would you like to share a tea and cake at the same time as helping some of the poorest families in the world?

How about hosting a CommuniTEA? The joy of the CommuniTea is that it does not need to be a big production, but will help to raise money for some of the world's poorest people.

There are no rules; you may wish to host a tea at home or in the workplace and support will be given by Concern Universal, including providing a pack of invitations, posters and other information.

For more information on hosting a CommuniTEA contact Dee Jones on (01684) 540920 or Beth Williams on (01432) 355111

CommuniTEAS raises money for Concern Universal, an International Development Charity working to tackle poverty in 7 African countries, in Bangladesh and in Brazil by focusing on five main areas: health, food, skills, human rights and climate.

Concern Universal works with local people and communities as well as governments to provide the education, skills and financial resource such as small loans for small businesses to ensure that aid is sustainable and helps local communities directly.

£0.93 in every £1.00 raised by Concern Universal’s supporters is spent directly on those in need. For more about the charity, which is based in Hereford, please click here
