Lunch Box takes place on Thursdays this autumn, with a fascinating range of entertainment lined up from local speakers and musicians.
The programme is currently as follows:
11th September Rainbows, light and the infrared: A talk by John Gillham, Trustee of Malvern Radar and Technology History Society
25 September Working in theatre: A talk by Toby Burchell, Front of House Manager, Malvern Theatres
9th October The impact of the railway on the Malven area: Peter Clement, Friends of Malvern’s Railway Group gives a talk
16th October An insight into Asperger's/autism A talk by Julia Micklewright from ASPIE Worcester, a social, support and therapy group for adults. Please note, this talk takes place a week earlier than the usual fortnightly pattern of talks
6th November Students from the Chase School give a musical performance
20th November 16 years of All About Malvern – How it all started and keeps going: a talk by Sascha McDonald from All About Magazines
4th December A Concert by pupils from Malvern Parish CofE Primary School
Organised by the Friends of Malvern Priory, all Lunchbox events are completely free, although a retiring collection is held to help raise funds for the Priory.
You can bring your own lunch from 12.30 pm before the talk or concert begins at 1pm. Events last for around 30 minutes and tea, coffee and cake are available.
