Ledbury Carnival 2025

25 August 2025

Ledbury Carnival Association is gearing up to make this year’s event another huge success with ‘Wonders of the World’ the theme for 2025.

As in previous years, the event this time round is on August Bank Holiday Monday, 25th August. Hundreds of people, both local and visitors, are expected into the centre of Ledbury to enjoy the town’s biggest street party of the year!

This year, the fifty-first carnival has a theme of Wonders of the World. This will be interpreted and reflected by the participants in the carnival procession as it makes its way along the High Street and Homend, bringing a smile to the faces of young and old. The procession is one of three main parts of the day which also includes a wealth of market and food stalls and a programme of entertainments aimed at all ages and tastes.

On and around St Katherine’s Square there will be children’s entertainments. The rest of the car park area will be filled  with an exciting mix of fairground rides. There will be a music stage along the High Street with live bands providing a mix of music for all ages to get down and dance!

The event is organised by a small group of volunteers, who together make up the Ledbury Carnival Association. They meet once a month during the year and on the day you will spot them in their distinctive bright orange Steward tabards. They look forward to welcoming you on Monday 25th August to enjoy all that Ledbury Carnival has to offer. If you would like to take a more active role in the event next year, you are very welcome to come along and perhaps shadow one of the current volunteers. In that way, you can make a difference and put a smile on the face of Ledbury.
