Ledbury Heritage Centre
14 March 2026
Ledbury Heritage Centre re-opens for the new season.
Situated in The Old Grammar School at the top of Church Lane, everyone is warmly invited to come along and explore, as well as help celebrate the museum’s 48th birthday with tea and cakes.
The centre is a wonderful place to discover more about Ledbury’s rich history. Displays tell the story of how the town has grown over the years, while panoramic views of the High Street and The Homend take you on a journey back in time, complete with fascinating details of shops and houses dating all the way back to the 18th century. Younger visitors can enjoy fun quizzes, and there’s plenty of helpful information and maps available if you’d like to explore the town for yourself. You’ll find a lovely selection of Mother’s Day gifts, including local jams and preserves, locally made biscuits, beautiful hand-turned bowls created from local cedar, tea-towels depicting Ledbury and cards featuring striking photographs of some of Ledbury’s quirkier corners, taken by a local photographer.
As well as enjoying the history, you can learn more about volunteering. They are always happy to welcome new volunteers to help run the Heritage Centre.
The Heritage Centre is open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 11am to 3pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 10.30am to 4.30pm with free entry. ledburyplaces.co.uk
