Taking place on the second Sunday of each month, it offers a friendly place to shop for locally produced fruit and veg, freshly baked organic bread, cakes, savoury items, jams and preserves, eggs, cheese, drinks and local crafts. Its also a place to enjoy a hot drink and snack at a pop-up café taking place at the same time.
The organisers hope that by offering a place to mingle and meet others, the new market helps to combat loneliness during the winter months. Other aims include reducing the carbon footprint of local people and traders will be encouraged to donate leftover perishable stock to Malvern Green Space.
There will be a raffle on the day with the proceeds going to a different local charity each month.
