The Mayor's Peaks Challenge 2023

29 April 2023

Experience beautiful views from the Malvern Hills whilst taking part in the Mayor’s Peaks Challenge 2023. The organised charity walk takes place on Saturday 29th April and will help to raise important funds for Guide Dogs.

There are two different lengths of walk. For those who like a challenge, the end-to-end long walk of 15km (6-8 hours) takes you over the seventeen peaks of the Malvern Hills. Registration will be in Priory Park with coaches leaving at 8am to take walkers to the starting point on the Bromsberrow Estate. The short walk is 7km (3-5 hours) and takes in the main section of the Malvern Hills, including the highest peak of the hills The Worcestershire Beacon. Registration for this walk is in Priory Park from 10.15am and a shuttle bus will take walkers to the start at the British Camp.

All entrants will receive an event T Shirt and will be presented with a finisher’s medal by the Mayor of Malvern. Walkers are encouraged to bring their four-legged friends along as well-behaved dogs are welcome and will be presented with a rosette at the finish. All entrance fees will go to support Guide Dogs and although not mandatory, we hope that everyone can raise some sponsorship, every little bit helps!

Walk with friends, as part of a work team or walk on your own and make friends along the way. Refreshments can be purchased on the route or enjoy your own picnic on the slopes of the Hills. There will even be some guide dogs at the finish, ready to welcome you back.
