Three Counties History of Art Group
Malvern Theatre Hospitality Room, Malvern Theatres, Grange Road, Malvern, Worcestershire, WR14 3HB
The group runs 10 week terms on Monday afternoons 2-4 pm in the Malvern Theatre Hospitality Room. Course fees vary according to numbers but are approximately £65 per term.
It all began as a Birmingham University extra-mural class over 12 years ago, then after a number of years became a non-profit making, privately run group by local lecturer, Ursula Gill BA. She has now retired & we now have Alice Foster M.A. our lecturer since Spring 2011.
Alice Foster has lectured at the University of Oxford, Department of Continuing Education for many years. She is an experienced NADFAS lecturer and has been a member of the teaching team at Farncomb Residential Courses, Broadway, since its inception. Since 1996 Alice has been responsible for the History of Art unit at a Summer School at Brasenose College, Oxford for American students and she regularly guides study tours to Italy, including Florence, and other parts of Europe. She also guides her students to venues in the UK. She is President of Banbury Fine Arts Society.
We look forward to an exciting term in October 2012. Alice is delightful, an inspirational teacher I’m sure you will be engaged by her excellent illustrated lectures. Contact Fiona on the details below for more information.
