Victim Support Volunteers
Victim Support is an independent charity for people affected by crime and traumatic events. The local team is currently looking for more volunteers who are empathetic, non-judgemental and want to make a difference to the community.
Successful applicants will receive comprehensive training and ongoing guidance. When fully trained, volunteers will then begin to directly support people affected by crime. Much of the support offered is initially given by telephone, volunteers are provided with mobile phones and essential expenses are reimbursed.
