Zest 4 Life - Malvern
Zest4Life is a not for profit social group that focuses on alleviating loneliness in and around Malvern.
The group’s Conversational Lunches take place at the Octagon Centre on Brook Farm Drive in Malvern every Wednesday. With an 11.30am arrival, there’s a chance to chat before the raffle which is followed by a savoury meal and a dessert, before proceedings come to a close at 2pm. Everybody is welcome, its open to all age groups.
Zest4Life continues to run through Christmas and New Year, with its Wednesday meetings on 20th December, 27th December and 3rd January.
In Malvern, anyone can join the Zest4Life extended family. It’s a place where you can enjoy conversation, have a laugh, share a home-made meal and endless warming beverages.
‘Conversation and Laughter are a crucial part of life’ says Martin Lawrence who is the group’s vice-chair. ‘For many these represent a people-powered booster rocket out of potential despair. The mission of Zest4Life is to provide a friendship group, fuelled by conversation, games and laughter, alleviating loneliness, supporting bereavement and improving cognitive reserves to help people live longer.’
“The price sensitive £3 banquet-style menu is described as legendary and is complemented by free surplus food to take home. On 20th December the two course meal and Christmas-themed gathering means that we will need to price at £5; we would also appreciate knowing beforehand if you are attending.“
