Day of Dance in Worcester

Old Meg Morris and SoXSighted Morris are holding a Day of Dance in Worcester later this summer and are inviting other musicians and Morris dancers to join them.
Based in Malvern, Old Meg Morris has been delighting audiences with energetic displays of Morris dancing for almost half a century, while SoXSighted, founded just five years ago is the only Morris side for visually impaired dancers in the country - and possibly the world!
The two sides are inviting other Morris dancers, both local and further afield, to take part in a day of dance displays in key locations around Worcester. There will be a number of different Morris dancing styles on show, together with an array of colourful costumes and talented live musicians.
The event is completely free and will run from 10.30am to 3.30pm on Saturday 20th July.
